***Per the comments on this post as of Wednesday night, I've decided to do the word verification thing on my comments; I've also changed the settings so that search engines can't find me. I think I'll try this for awhile and see how I feel - although I know that my husband will never want to comment anymore. That letter-typing thing bugs him. Thanks to all who commented with advice and especially to those who emailed me asking to be added to my 'in-crowd.' I feel so loved. :) ***
My husband is always telling me that I should limit access to my blog with a password, but I've been enjoying that fact that random people can reconnect with me via the blogosphere.
Until now.
A comment on my last post put me over the edge. I think I'm creeped out enough to actually go to the trouble of gathering everyone's email addresses and sending invitations and the whole bit. That is, assuming that I can still do that at this point. I guess I'll find out just as soon as I give it a try.
So if you'd like to be included in the soon-to-be-private blog, please email me. If you don't have my email address, drop me a line at the address we give to all the spammers and scams: mattandbrittany@hotmail.com.
It's been nice in some ways to be found (ward friends, Hillary V, Sharon, Emily, etc.), but I'm ready to get lost for awhile.

hey i don't blame you for going private. i have done that then nobody could read anything i wrote and the whole thing was confusing. but you should if you are getting yucky stuff. don't block me out. plus we missed you at girl's night. wish you were there!
I read your last set of comments and I think you might have gotten some spam, so you could try doing the spam-blocking thing where you have to type in letters before you can leave a comment. Also, you could make it so you have to approve all the comments before they can be posted. Just suggestions if you can't make the blog private. Don't block me out!
There is an option in your layout settings to choose not to have your blog included in bloggers listings, or to allow search engines to find your blog, that limits the creepies and crawlies too...
Oh and yes I agree with amanda on the spam blocking...
