Yes, that is a bar of soap with a huge bite taken out of it. Extricated from the bathtub just a moment too late tonight, I'm afraid. I can't seem to keep Truman out of personal hygiene products - he's happily eaten hair gel, deodorant (I had to call Poison Control for that one), lotion, and mousse. On the food side, he's particularly fond of lime wedges and A1 sauce. Bold flavors, anyone? He also has a taste for technology:

Uses markers to disguise himself as a dictator:

Loves to 'load' the dishwasher:

And can't help but rearrange the kitchen cupboards (he got all of this out by himself):
What a guy.

heh heh heh.
You're adorable. I know the post was about the boy, but you, my friend, are adorable.
what a good boy. he has good hygiene he likes to keep very clean from the inside and out and is a good momma's little helper. You've trained him well. :)
First off, I love Truman, secondly, I love you and thirdly I love your background.
Brittany, this post made me laugh so hard!
Oh, Truman! I thought Addie's spoonful of sour cream was bad! The picture of the bar of soap is priceless.
what a cute little handful!
Oh, too funny! He's quite the busy bee, huh?
I don't think the threat of washing his mouth out with soap, a popular one for kids who are sassy, will work for Truman. You'll have to be a little more creative with him.
Holy moly! What a crazy (but very cute) kid!
Very cute. I used to eat deodorant when I was a kid too. There's a nip to it that's quite appealing...
Oh, my. He's a precocious one, that Truman.
Truman is so cute, and looks like he is having fun. love you all
I love this post. I love the way you write, and I love seeing your kid's face, and I think it's funny the way you interpreted the marker on his upper lip.
Wow- he is a CUTIE! Tell him I have some new diaper rash cream that is very popular with Carter if he wants to come share....
Wow, you've got your hands full. But, better full than empty I must say.
First I ahve to say that I'm impressed at how many comments you get on your blogs! I don't think I've ever had over 5 comments, let alone 16! :p
And I love toddlers! They make for GREAT times! [no sarcasm at all!]
These are adorable! Truman is huge. Clearly you should post pictures of him more often so I can see him growing. (I originally wrote 'growling.' I would be happy to see that too.)
I am a terrible, terrible correspondent, but I have many things to tell you and I hope many things to hear about how you've been when not blogging. So I will email you soon. But in the meantime, hi!

I love this post. Truman is hilarious! That is a huge bit out of the soap! Yikes! We sure do miss you guys!
i'll be excited when you feed him kool-aid and he projectiles its remains across the counter...
only then will we dub him the name, "Mt. Vesuvius"
